“ Delicious, very hard to find 5 stars of all of the above, our server Kevin and Eric were outstanding. Very nice man. I don’t usually like bistec, but they cooked it perfectly to where it could be pulled apart. The vegetables were cooked to perfected and created a nice juice. The bolon was big, and I have left over which I will definitely eat later. Every bite had the chicharron and cheese, we got mixto massa too. Absolutely delicious and the wait time didn’t feel long at all. The owner came and asked us, she was incredibly kind. Told us some tricks so we can mix our cravings. Would recommend for sure. This is my 2nd time; mom came here for her birthday. And she got fish and it was perfectly cooked. Great people, will come again. ”
“ Everything is great .. food was delicious.. the service is perfect . ”
“ I went with my wife and the service was amazing kevin and eric did a good job, the food was fresh and good taste, we ordered ronda de mariscos and everything was really good, thank you!!! ”
“ This is the best Ecuadorian Food in the area! We came with a party of 14 people, we were seated quickly, our server Antonella M was amazing! She really took care of the table. The food was delicious, it was served promptly, and all together (which is very difficult as our party was large and each person ordered something completely different). The restaurant is very family friendly and an inviting atmosphere. Thank you Antonella for treating us sooooo well! Can’t wait to be back ”
“ We were a party of 8 (including 2 small children). Our servers, Kevin and Luis were very helpful and hospitable. Our food was delicious and the portions were huge! My partner loved the guatita especially! ”

“ If you’re looking for an authentic taste of Ecuador in New Jersey, La Roca Restaurant in Elizabeth is the place to go! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and an inviting atmosphere. The food was absolutely incredible—fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic Ecuadorian cuisine. We had the encebollado, seco de chivo, and camarones al ajillo, and each dish was packed with delicious flavors that transported us straight to Ecuador. The portions were generous, and everything was cooked to perfection. What made our experience even better was the exceptional service from Kevin and Kelly. Kevin was hands down the best waiter—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Kelly also went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They both made us feel like family, which is something you don’t get at just any restaurant. If you’re in the area and craving Ecuadorian food, La Roca Restaurant is a must-visit! The caldo de bola was so amazing and delicious. Its a little pricey but its worth it! Good portion sizes and amazing flavors. The staff was also very nice and professional. The ambiance is very nice and it was a great experience!! ”
